Around 11:30 am I called asking for the price to replace front porch light. She took my name and phone number and saying she'll have the electrician to call me back..... nobody called me back (the time right now is 18:52)!!
This company is awesome! I had a small emergency (outdoor GFI to my pond blew) and they squeezed me in the same day. The owner himself showed up and was very friendly, worked quickly, and the charge was incredibly reasonable! Their magnet is now on my fridge as my go to for electrical needs!
I called this company to go and check a burn smell on a property I rent. The receptionist was courteous and they went within couple of hours to check. They found out that a ceiling fan was not working, and they proceeded to fix WITHOUT asking if they should go ahead and fix (different from car shop where they will call to tell you what the problem is and then asking if it is ok to fix; even when I fixed a garage door they called me to tell me what was the problem and how much would it cost BEFORE proceeding.) I had paid for someone to install that ceiling fan and I could have ask the same person to go back and fix. I am more than willing to pay for the service of going and find the problem but it should have stopped right there. The tenant informed me they did not ask her either whether to proceed with the fixing of the fan. Then I got the bill for almost $200 dollars for what it was just about 1 hour visit. Sigh. I talked to them but in a not too rude way yet abrasive way said they would not do even a discount. Lesson learned, and I won't do any more business with this company in the future.
Seemed professional at first. Then they expected to get paid in full before completing the work by providing a final inspection from county inspectors. Obviously, work should be completed first and the customer should have completed work before payment. Then they filed a lien after only 5 days passed of final inspection by the county was completed. Still trying to get a W-9 filled out before sending final payment. Better to go elsewhere folks. Lots of contractors out there that are more professional...
