Needless to say my son broke down crying. My whole family stopped and looked at me where I told them to leave the store. The older gentleman manning the store was un-phased and unapologetic. This is by far the worst retail experience I have had anywhere. If they do not want children in their store there should be a sign posted so that we know before walking in the store to spend money.
I am currently seeking a way to lose the sunglasses we bought because every time I look at her with them on I think of this man yelling at my son.
On March 17th at 10am my family and I were taking the day to go to the square and see what we could find. It was a beautiful day. We were struck by the recycle artisan pieces in the window and decided to go inside. The store was well laid out and the pricing was all displayed to easily see; very reasonable. Given that my son is 4 and very interested in everything I started to move him toward the front to get him out of the store. He was very curious but had not touched anything at this point. I could feel by the way the person in store was pacing back and forth looking over us that I should move my son out of the store. On our way he found and interesting watch priced at $24. He was handling it and I was not more than 2 ft away from him and the watch. When from across the store I heard "son, Son! SON!!!!.....DON'T HANDEL THE WATCH..
