What a perfect spot to get away from the crowds around the plaza. The coffee is superb and the apple muffin I had was the best ever, lots of fresh apple slices and a freshly baked, not cloyingly sweet dough.
After three lovely visits, I still am a fan of this cafe. The staffs here were all very nice and friendly, and everything I ordered was great, all delicious and very affordable. It is a very relaxing spot, quiet and calm, warm and cozy. If I ever go back to Santa Fe, I would definitely go back for more great food! While my stay in Santa Fe, my favorite spot for breakfast and lunch was this cute boutique bakery and cafe. I love that they have made-from-scratch items that changes on daily bases. They offer good variety of items like pastries, savory puff pies, scones, soups and sandwiches. They also have gluten-free and vegan options here too.
The experience and food exceeded our expectations! We hosted an event there for 20 female filmmakers and we all aggreed the scones and muffins were the best we had ever had! The flavors, the texture, and we caught them fresh out of the oven. Melanie and staff went above and beyond to make our experience so delicious and memorable. We also loved that they serve local tea in their bakery! Very community minded, cozy, comfortable, beautiful art on the walls. I can't say enough positive things about the food and the service. Between us all, we sampled most everything on the breakfast menu, you can't go wrong! Creative and delicious!
The inside was much bigger than I thought, with good amount of seating and lots of natural light coming in from windows. They also have outdoor seating as well.
Best BLT and salad. Just like the old days. Lemon cupcake is to die for.
I visited this place three times, and during those visits, I tried Chocolate Hazelnut Ring, Figgy Ham & Cheese Panini Sandwich, Chicken & Mushroom Puff Pie, Mini Chocolate Bundt Cake, Strawberry Cheesecake Baby Muffin, and Breakfast Sandwich. I liked them all especially the pie and breakfast sandwich. They were really good! Their portion of the savory items might look a bit small, but they are super filling.
