Not worth a return visit!
We were told the New menu was Bigger and Better.
I LOVE Chili's ! I used to work at a Chili's as a server, years ago. But my experience at this particular location was less than satisfactory. It took forever to get our drinks...Our appetizer came out only like 2 minutes before our food and once our food did come out, my fajitas were not even sizzling. As a former server, I know that this is unacceptable. People have a certain expectation when they go to chain restaurants. It's the familiarity that keep people coming back, but I had such a bad experience at this location. The sad part is that they were not even that busy.
Went with my girlfriend around 1pm . We Waited 5 or 6 minutes to be sat by staff, then waited another 10 minutes til we were greated by our waitress. She took our drink and food orders, brought the food and was never seen again. We sat there for another 10 minutes after we finished our food, she never brought the check. We just left the money on the table. It would be understandable if it were super busy, but there was literally only 4 other tables besides us. She didn't introduce herself and was not attentive or friendly. If you do decide to come here, I'd recommend the afternoon/late night. Their staff is a whole different story.
Super fast turn around with our food. Was able to share gluten free info with our server who was very helpful ad wad her manager. But..please explain why your black beans and rice are not gluten free?
Doubled up on the fried pickles and received 12 slices, ordered a Burger never found the onion ring it came with. Tried to order Honey Chipotle wings No Honey Chipotle sauce.
Previous to this visit, I was a regular customer. I knew my servers name, she knows my usual order, and she has checked my ID 1000 times before. I have been traveling and had left my ID in another bag. She was too afraid of losing her job, so I just asked if I could try and explain to the manager. She brought him over and he wouldn’t budge. I could understand if I looked under age, but I’m in my mid 50’s with gray hair!!! So I will no longer be supporting these Nazis. I don’t fault the server, she was in fear for her job, she’s the best thing about our experience there, but the douche manager, Edgar, could’ve bent these ridiculous rules to keep a good customer. Once, when I didn’t have my usual server, my beer was served with the biggest red lipstick all over the rim, the next glasses were filthy again.
