Knowledgeable gentleman who was willing to help me find the value of all of my books. Very nice guy, very very helpful.
I spent a very enjoyable hour and half here browsing through to see what I could find. Floor to ceiling shelving spread across four or five small rooms A range of antiquarian books, some mixed in with out of print volumes and some in separate cabinets. The man minding the store (the owner was not there) was easy going and amenable to opening the one or two locked cabinets. Good prices I thought.
Great collection of rare/semi rare books
Great used book store with helpful, knowledgeable staff. Interesting and varied selection. Nice selection of local arts, cultural and historic books, plus all the classics in both hard cover and paper back. A visit to Nicholas Potter's a fantastic way to spend a few hours and their prices are reasonable, especially considering the location.
