What a treasure find! We happened upon this hotel for the night while on our way through Santa Fe. The staff was friendly and extremely hospitable. We loved(!) the unique decor of the buildings and rooms, which were also very clean and cozy. We will be back for another visit! :-)
Thrift store furniture, dated and dirty does not make vintage and charming. Junk piled up outside bedroom window and old astroturf lawn for landscaping. I don't think the owners have put a dollar back into this place since the day it opened.
Loved it! The grounds are beautiful. The rooms are quiet and comfortable and the staff was very nice. The breakfast was only pastries, but they were amazing. If you want a full breakfast there is a nice little restaurant right next door. One hot tub was not working, but they have 2. This is an old historic building so if you want more modern accommodations this might not be for you.
Dive hotel with a charming exterior setting and classic pueblo architecture, don't let this fool you.
Over priced .... advertised rooms $110 but just paid, bill for one night - $250. At 100 a night, maybe a value?
The hot tub was so nice & warm. The pool is wonderful. We stayed in a room with 3 beds and it even had one bed in it's own room with access to the bathroom. We had a very pleasant experience. I would have given 5 stars but did not enjoy the experience of the breakfast as all the pastries were very hard and no ice water. It's free so not that big of a deal.
The bathroom smelled a lot like mildew. That was the only thing wrong with this place. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. The staff was personable, the price was right, the rooms are homey and the grounds are beautiful. I can't imagine a better experience and I'm quite picky about hotels. Check their website for deals too. It's close enough to downtown that there is no reason to pay double at a downtown hotel.
