Nice buffet, pleasent staff, pretty good food. Great for familys and friends.

I was in Santa Fe today and was looking for a buffet place for lunch when I found Furr's. I read "All you can eat buffet" and I was excited. I go in and get in line where they served me the smallest portions of food in bowls like a child. They did not have much options; most of their food is dessert it looked like. So I sit down and the spaghetti was absolutely terrible it had watery sauce and I ate the mashed potatoes in one bite (so I keep having to get up for more?) The cake was by far the worst it had such a strange consistency. You could have made all this food at home for less than half of what they charge you. It also would taste better if you made it. After I ate I felt sick so I asked for the restroom and I immediately vomited everything I just ate (it wasn't much because I could barely stomach the chicken) It was the first thing I ate that day it couldn't have been anything else. I decided to speak to the manager and was very polite about it and told him how the food was and what happened and he was very rude. He said "well I've never had complaints" and he looked upset. Then he said "ok" and gestured that I can go and don't need to pay ($15). It wasn't about the bill it was the fact I got sick in your restaurant and threw up your food in your restroom. I did not receive an apology. I will never return, plus it is overly priced. No variety in food either. If you like jello this is the place for you because that's the only decent item. I've never met such unprofessional management who did not care about how a costumer was treated.
First buffer experience in about a decade. Interesting choices and good variety. Food tasted good and service was decent. A very good deal for a dinner...$10.99 per adult.
You don't want a come here for a memorable meal. You wanna come here for a cheap bite when you can't figure anything else out. Furr's will always satisfy your needs to eat and the service is pretty good. Just keep in mind, it's a $10 buffet. Better than Golden Corral imo
