Hotel Santa Fe is amazing resort this hotel is our company's hotel of choice. Close to the plaza, State Capitol, Art Galleries. The Hacienda suites are beautiful served by outstanding butlers. Staff are always professional. The food at Amaya always from the best Chefs. Friends make your reservations at Hotel Santa & Hacienda and Spa. Believe me you will be pleased.
Love the Hacienda! Staff is incredible. Love that you get a little happy hour -and the rooftop terrace is very nice. The rooms are beautiful - love the fireplaces, the showers and toiletries provided are great, they even turn down your covers before bed and leave you little chocolate treats!! It's all just a great way to feel pampered! ...and the spa, you need to see it to understand how amazing it is! Like no place I've ever been!
The hotel is beautiful, the staff are very kind, lovely pool and hot tub, and the hotel is close to almost everything you'd want to see in Santa Fe - also with free bus to major areas to see.... But, the hotel is incredibly loud. I've never been to a hotel that is this loud. There is heavy foot steps, so much slamming and banging that things shake in the room - until at least 1 am, one night we were kept awake until 2:30 am. The slamming and banging continues around 6 am. It's been very hard to enjoy Santa Fe when you've only had so little sleep.
The Hacienda portion of the hotel is lovely, with a breakfast and evening lounge and very attentive service, including multiple first-come first-serve shuttles to nearby locations. Combined with the fact that the Santa Fe train station is so close, this let's you easily visit the are without renting a car. It's close to several contemporary art galleries and the SITE Santa Fe museum, and walking distance to Canyon Road as well, but out of the way of the crowds of the square.
I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed staying at your hotel last week. The bed and suite were immaculate and cozy. What we really enjoyed the most, though, was your beautiful lobby with fireplace, bar and an excellent concierge. Our dinner in the restaurant was absolutely delicious. Thank you for the entertaining welcome dance done by the local Indians in all their regalia. I've been to other fine hotels in Santa Fe and definitely will return to this one again.
