My daughter and I decided to do something we hadn't done before and rafting was it. We were paired with a family with two adventurous kids and we had a great time. We did a full day and it was restful in the beginning and thrilling after lunch. Our guide was thoughtful and experienced and made whole day really fun. We would absolutely do it again with this rafting company. This is something I will recommend to our out of state visitors and local friends.
Awesome guides. With a lot of knowledge of the area. Funny and great with the kids. Will be back to do more trips.
Our second year in a row to raft w Kokopelli. Last year the Rio Grande "Racecourse", this year the 3-day Rio Chama rafting/camping.
We had a fantastic time with Kokopelli guides Steven, Becka, and Megan. We took our nine year old nephew on the trip and he a great time. We did an all day trip with some class 3 rapids and it was perfect. Exciting enough that he loved it but not too much. Steven did an outstanding job guiding us down the river so that we missed everything that might be an issue and he was a fount of knowledge. I wouldn't use any other outfitter! Thanks!
We took the half day trip with three teens visiting from France. Our guide, Ren, was wonderful and our experience was fun and exciting. Safety instruction was thorough and even with a slight language barrier, everyone was well-prepared.
What an amazing experience! The wilderness canyon is spectacular gorgeous. Our guides, Jesse and Tristan were awesome, and made sure that (1) we were safe and prepared and (2) that our kids were engaged on and off the river, and (3) that we were spoiled with camping comfort and fine dining - what great cooks!!! When the trip was over, we all wanted to keep going - nobody wanted to pull out of the river! We already plan to be back next year to do another one. Thank you for everything. See you in 2018.
