Dr. Pam is the best. She and her husband work together which is very helpful as our kitties are like rocket ships when somone new walks in the door. Always on time and reasonable ($). Much easier than going to a brick and mortor vet. Besides, getting our kitties in carriers would take like a day.
Dr Schaeffer is probably the gentlest, most compassionate vet I've met. We used her years ago for end of life care for our old dog and eight years later she not only remembered us, but our dog's name. Being a mobile vet, she's not one to call for broken bones and x-rays but she's been wonderful for routine things like shots. When our current dog had trouble and we couldn't get her to the regular vet Dr S. came out within a reasonable time and did a full examination right where Nutmeg felt most comfortable but only AFTER letting the dog get comfortable with her presence.
Dr/ S's prices are a little lower than a vet with an office and a staff.
Definitely recommended!!!
I have asked her to put down my two best friends, Black Labs Kila and Riley, of 14 years, I could not have asked for a kinder, respectful, gentler experience to the end of life, that my girls fully deserved. Thank you Dr. Shaeffer!!
