Awesome little dive with amazing music (typically vinyl-only DJ missing eclectic classic rock, R and B, old school punk, etc), movies, and giant shots. Cash-only. Go if you know what's good for you.

This is a friendly dive bar. Not much more to say. If you have a crowd and can generate your own entertainment you can stay for awhile. For us it was just pop in for a drink and move on.

It's a little hard to find if using the address on San Francisco St - you won't find it. Go beyond address to end of block and turn corner. Downstairs bar with outside entrance - that in itself gives it an aura.

Bring cash and they offer up beer, booze, free loud music and bartenders with personality.

Don't mistake what you are going to. It's not pretentious. It"s a dark DIVE BAR (and a very good one). That was what we wanted. Definitely a "locals" place with a few visitors like us mixed in. Big with other waitstaff and service workers when they get off.

Real seedy vibe. Better than the Skylight Bar.

What a pathetic excuse for a bar. The turkey time I go here the bartender tells me that I can't have one drunk but instead offers me a bottle of water. When I ask why he replied its because I'm drunk. Well I have news for you, idiot. I wasent drunk. You were discriminating on me because I'm tall, white, had on basketball shorts and Jordan's, and unlike the pathetic crowd of loosers who all had beards and a who all looked like they were wasting the rest of their lives away in the pathetic mess of a bar. Bartender, learn how to do your job, learn how to judge intoxication correctly, and enjoy having this negative review with a photo of you on your page because it's pathetic you are, doing your job and costing yourself the generous tip. And ontop of it all that you would have the audacity to try and charge me for that bottle of water shows me that you are pathetic just like the rest of this garbage excuse of a town. Rot in hell, Matador!
