My dental condition and treatments available were all explained thoroughly to me by the assistant, the dental hygenist and the dentist himself. All my questions were answered in language easily understood. At every step I felt secure and heard. And the front office folk are friendly, helpful and efficient. From my perspective there is no need to seek out another dentist. This was a first class experience and I intend to remain with this dental office...
I was looking for a new dentist office for the long haul. I based my selection solely off of reviews from yelp and google and I must say, I was not disappointed! Specifically I was looking for convenience, appointment availability, newest technology, and an office with good energy and ambiance. I know it may seem like a bit to ask for a dentist office, but I did not want to feel like I was walking into a dreadful office every time I went. The hygienist Adam was amazing and very gentle on my teeth, explaining along the way what he was doing ( with no expectation of a two-way conversation with tools my mouth ). I met Dr. V who performed a filling for me and was so kind to his staff who was assisting him. His work looks amazing and you can't even tell! The office has so much energy and is buzzing with patients and staff and it was very comfortable. Their front desk staff made my process and paperwork extremely easy and I am all squared away for my next cleaning in six months. I have definitely found my forever dentist!
Loved Santa Fe Family Dentistry! Adam was my hygienist and did an awesome job. He explained my x-rays and gave me useful tips to improve my routine. Dr. Donahue did a great job making sure I understood my preventative care and what to keep an eye on. I already made my next appointment for six months out because I will always come here now!
My family and I had are routine cleaning examination this past month at Santa Fe Family Dentistry & Orthodontics. The Staff Dennis, Adam and Kaylie were very friendly and very easy to talk to. But the examination area was very dusty and the equipment was old. The examination chair was killing my back, since I have back issues. That’s definitely one thing I would recommend to update and I couldn’t imagine being in that chair for a long while.
If you want quality and kindness during a dental appointment, go to Santa Fe Family Dentistry and Orthodontics. I have been there twice and hope my insurance for next year includes this group as "in-plan." Dr. Loumeau proved to be a miracle worker by fixing a mess in my mouth, and having the patience to deal with me and my questions. He also made some good suggestions, explained the alternatives, and stayed positive. Adam, the very up-beat hygienist, painlessly cleaned my teeth, and also explained things as he went through the process. That was yesterday and my gums are NOT sore today; plus, he did the best cleaning job I have ever had. Jeannette, the dental assistant, appeared to be adept at her job and seemed positive as well as kind. Dennis, the office manager, was outstanding as well. He was soft-spoken, extremely kind, and very accommodating and efficient. I cannot imagine this man ever being hostile to a patient; perhaps firm about charges/ payments because that is part of his job, but not nasty. All dentists charge fees, and this group seems reasonable to me, compared to what I have paid to others in the past for lower quality work. Give Santa Fe Family Dentistry and Orthodontics a try. You just might be as pleasantly surprised as I was.
