3. There was one solo 5 on display which is supposed to be used for test runs. Unfortunately no body from their team could play that and finally a geek guy said "oh that's not playable. You know it's Thanksgiving time...". I was like absolutely speechless. To be honest there was not a lot and lot of crowds. Yes the store was full but there was no queue outside. I have seen many other BBs on TG Day where the management was way better than that of this one.
My understanding is they either don't want to sell or they don't know what they sell. May GOD save this store.
There is no doubt that the overall quality of experience of going into a retail store is below what it was 10 or 20 years ago, before buying largely moved to the Internet. Still, this Best Buy store does a good job of dispensing information and making its customers aware of their options.
Considering what is available from its competitors in Santa Fe in 2017, Best Buy here is undoubtedly the number one place to go for the sort of thing they sell. That its salespeople are not on commission is a plus for me and I find the Samsung rep here to be an outstanding individual by any standard.
So it happened that our nearly $1000 appliance was defective. We were a few days past Best Buy's return policy. Calling ahead of time and speaking with an associate got me nowhere. Drove to the store and was fortunate enough to speak with the manager on duty, Kyle. He handled the situation in a prompt and efficient manner. Exchanged the appliance with this courteous help. Earned our trust and business.
This is the worst BB I have seen as of now. I wanted to purchase a BOSE SOLO 5 and obviously wanted to hear the sound before I could take it. Their entire system was wrong -
2. The price was wrong and once I told them they had to visit their own website at least thrice before they could change the price
