Terrible phone customer service.
Me & family went to browse & wanted to purchase some games & when we entered no one was around?
When a worker did come out he was very quiet & upset as if we were a burden to the store & themselves. I also have heard from many family & friends who also feel that these 2 employees totally are unprofessional with there jobs & even try to take advantage of customers who know less about gaming or game stops policy's.
Me and a Colleague walked into this game stop to just browse and we felt completely unwelcome. The man behind the counter gave a very displeased welcome when we walked in not sure if that was because the store was empty and we were the only ones in there but it made it very uncomfortable to ask questions and when i asked about how long a system had been out I got a indirect response with him messing with something behind the counter and muttering "eh idk like a few months" I wont be going back and the mans name behind the counter was Mark.
Update last time i went in the manager was cool.
We refuse to go to what we have coined the "bad GameStop" now. The College Plaza location just blows it out of the water.
The staff here is always amazing. We live closer to the other GameStop, but go out of our way to go to this location due to the better staff. The people who staff this store are more knowledgeable, have better customer service skills (often going way beyond expectations when something goes wrong), and are genuinely friendly.
They are the best people in the world it got me to thinking that I wanna work there
