As usual, top notch service, and the installation went just as described ahead of time. If you are new to town and looking around for HVAC contractors, I don't think you will go wrong with Reliable Tech. This is the third or fourth job they have done for us, and if there is a need for another, I will call them again.
Could you find a less expensive contractor? Most likely you can. Are they the most expensive? Probably not. For me, dependable, responsive, and thorough are much more important than saving 5 or 10% on a job.
Reliable Tech was GREAT to work with. When socked with an emergency repair that turned out to be more than I could handle at the time, they worked with me. They are professional, helpful, and very nice folks, too. I recommend them to all for plumbing repairs. They are honest, reasonable, and completely professional; and they've aptly named their company. They're totally reliable.
We called Reliable Tech nearly two years ago to see what it would cost to replacing an aging hot water heater. When Angelo looked over the system, he pointed out that some defects in how our hot water heater and furnace were installed and gave me the option of (1) replacing both (2) replacing only the hot water heater with a enhanced venting system for the furnace (because he would not put back a code violating setup back in place). While I was worried that maybe I was being pressured into spending more than I needed, I knew (from past inspections and evaluations by other plumbers) that the system did need to be fixed and went with option (1)¸ particularly because the company offered a discount due to slow business that particular time of the year.
All in all, an excellent company with high ethics. Maybe not as cheap as a fly-by-night operator but they have earned my trust.
I paid over 3000.00 n tech Terrance promised over n over 3 years warranty off n on service till end of 2017 now they tell me they only service. Santa fe so they won't come turn off my air and turn my heater on in June the attendant promise they would be back for the last of my contract to turn heaters on a nd turn off the air . now the asst. Manager tells me she's fired for telling customers this. So now are refusing to service me cause they only service Santa fe. So I've been lied to. Don't ever do business with this lying company spread the word Terrance the tech sat and prayed with us and made promises n lied.not a honest company don't lose your money...Not an honest company rip offs to the elderly seniors
The install was done very well and the systems are working well. The installers were professional and courteous and did a very neat job. They gave a pretty good estimate of how long it would take and came close to meeting it. They provided heaters for our house while the heater was down.
Since then, I have called the company several times to look at minor issues with the system (a leak at a joint here and there) and they have always come out promptly. They have honored the 2 year warranty perfectly. In fact, today's service person looked at some sections that got corroded due to the minor leak and said he would talk to the boss about replacing it within the warranty period.
I called other plumbers in SF when my water heater broke and got really varied prices and longer wait times. These guys really are the best.
Angelo, the owner, came out to deal with an intermitten problem with my all in one boiler/tankless water heater. Did a very thorough job, explained everything and was very reasonable on pricing. These guys have always done a great job for me.
