Outstanding LOCALLY OWNED & OPERATED full-service pet store, small but packed; always unique creatures the big chains don't have, and really competitive prices besides. It's like a little zoo with snakes hanging from the ceiling and you can play with most of the animals too. The owner, Rick, has like 30 years of experience in the exotic pet business, and is my go-to person for animal care information. I think he can get just about any pet you can imagine, plus anything you need to properly house, feed, and pamper it. A local treasure. I found a Vield chameleon in my yard and decided to try and keep it. I got some basic information on-line and went to pets smart for a terrium and lights. The staff there knew nothing about chameleons and wasted my time and money, I tried to return some things I didn't need and they wouldn't even give me store credit ( I had spent $200 plus ) I went to jurassic pets for some information and Rick was really knowledgeable, he even debunked some bad information I got on-line. He set me up with about $60 worth of equipment and food, and when I told him I didn't have any money he gave it to me on the cuff, and told me to pay him when I could ( who does that these days? ) Do not hesitate togo to jurrasic pets for all your reptile needs, and to check out all the cool animals, snakes hanging from the ceilings, etc.
I bought 2 ball pythons from Jurassic Pets and the owner Rick was extremely helpful with all i needed to rehome them properly and I highly recommended
Rick is a great source of knowledge for everything about your pets and he is able to source some of the most exotic pets around. We look forward to our weekly visit for snake and gecko food to see what new critters he has in the store. I find myself wanting to buy more and more everytime.
