I HIGHLY RECOMMEND L'OLIVER. PLEASE GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. THE FOOD WAS OVER THE TOP.
For a special birthday celebration, I treated my wife to dinner at RESTAURANT L’OLIVIER in Santa Fe. It was fabulous! For starters, I ordered the Escargot (with ham, tomatoes, spinach, slivered almonds) and my wife ordered the Soup of the Day (butternut squash with pumpkin) – both were absolutely wonderful! The silky butter sauce in my Escargot was especially delicious. For entrees, she ordered the Fish of the Day (Branzino over Black Rice and Mushrooms in a Beurre Blanc sauce), and I ordered the Short Ribs with Haricots Verts & Chile Jack Cheese Mashed Potatoes – again, both dishes were marvelous. For dessert, my wife enjoyed a mouth-watering Pear Tarte Tatin topped with ice cream, while I quaffed a vintage Taylor Port. It was an amazing experience, especially thanks to our fantastic host Zack who was always attentive to our needs. The restaurant’s atmosphere is warmly charming and romantic. Absolutely great dining experience, and highly recommended.
I took my wife to your restaurant for our 17th anniversary. Your ambiance my wife just LOVED. The service was excellent. The waiter went above and beyond. He made us feel very welcome. And he mentioned the fact that it was our anniversary several times. THAT was very nice. NOW THE FOOD. OMG

Possibly the best meal we've had in New Mexico. The chef is genuinely talented (and a friendly guy). The wait staff were friendly and fun. The food was off the charts good. Try the Elk or the filet mignon with fava beans. Seriously -- this was some damn good food!! We are definitely going back soon.
Superb service, food, and atmosphere! This is a must if you enjoy real French cuisine in a cosy atmosphere. Just disappointed it's taken me 4 years to discover my new "go to" restaurant when in Santa Fe!
