Live here. Love going there, great drinks n food, nice wine by the glass, Best Fried Oysters, better than Seattle.. huge n juicy! Great soups n dinners.

Horrible atmosphere, service took forever. Our server almost blatantly ignored us multiple times before finally coming over after being prompted. Sirloin steak sandwich bread was stale, margarita that was ordered came 5 minutes after we had eaten. We never got refills on our drinks. Only reason I would give it 2 stars is because I was very very hungry and the food tasted kind of decent-ish.
Went there on a Friday evening. The place wasn't very crowded, but it took 10 minutes for someone to greet us. After being seated we gave our drink and appetizer orders. The drinks came out in short order, but a single plate of nachos took 30 minutes! They have an open kitchen, and you could see the disorganization. Having worked in a kitchen, it looked like everyone there just started that night.
The bartender was very friendly and did her best to keep us happy. However they were out of calamari and two ingredients for a rye Old Fashioned. We finally left after waiting for over and hour for our food. There were multiple open tables so I can't imagine if they were at capacity what the wait would be. 5 other people at the bar that ordered after us also left. Proper planning for a busy weekend would go a long way. I really wish I could've enjoyed my entree and maybe had something positive to contribute. Best of luck.
