Expansive builders supply store, definitely geared toward the general contractor rather than the individual, but never had problems with my small orders. Good phone service for quotes, and large selection of hand tools and heavy duty power tools. Smaller hardware section than your typical box store, but good, unddamaged sheet good selection and a steel yard... However expect to pay 15-20% more for steel and sheet goods, lacquer, and pretty much any other consumables.
Awesome hardware and lumber store. But place with lots of quality products. Locally owned. Definitely recommend this place to others.
Professional products sold by professionals behind the counter. Go-to store for steel/cement block/fasteners and just about everything for the home. If you're tired of the big box so called 'hardware' stores you'll find Empire a breath of fresh air. They'll have what you need for major building products and small ones too.

Not your father's big box store, but definately worth a visit. Knowledgeable, and helpful staff for all your questions. Quick and convenient check out. Old school lumber yard (they even help you load it) and good selection of steel.
