Generally a good place to find what you need, BUT replacement parts (plumbing, electrical) for older items are sometimes out-of-stock or not available.
My experience at this store is that women get ignored. I just returned from there and I had to ask three times where curtain rods were located. I finally asked the same service rep if he could show me where since I wasn't finding them. He showed irritation but walked in front of me and I followed. He did admit it was one aisle from where he had told me. I have never been asked if I need help.
i was on hold for 12 minutes trying to ask if they carried fire tool sets. Then I hung up and called back a few times. Finally got a live person who said it was seasonal but hold on. I was back on hold so finally hung up. Guess I will go by when it's colder, that probably would be faster. They call it the do it your self store, cause you're pretty much on your on in the store.
I always find what I need for my projects. Knowledgeable staff and always very helpful!
What a fantastic experience! We walked in, looked around and then found Bruce, the assistant manager. We had a broken lamp socket that needed to be taken apart so that I could rewire a lamp. I had tried, with Vise-grips and all my strength to get the thing unjammed. Bruce managed it after a bit of effort, and then knew EXACTLY where each item we needed could be found! We flew through that store and really got all our list checked off! Bruce was familiar with each item, gave us his full attention and was quite happy to help us out! EXCELLENT STORE! ~The Two old ladies with the broken lamp socket~
