We were trying to buy a refrigerator from the store. The first order never shipped out after two weeks of waiting until we found out it was a back order. No notice was given. The second order arrived in store and it took them ten days to schedule a delivery. Not only that, no notice was given until we call which day it will be delivered. On the day of delivery, they were three hours late than a flexible 4 hours window. They totally messed up our schedule and made us feel very uncared for.
Nobody shows up when you press the call button. After the second time having someone paged a guy shows up and decides he needs another one with a lift and is gone forever. In the end I called the manager who told me they were short staffed today. But I am in there every day - it is never better. There must have been a change in management since last summer. Even the employees seem frustrated this year.
Probably the best home improvement store in Santa Fe. Staff is much better than Home Depot. I have had way more selection and way less hassle from Lowes
Worst experience than I ever had before! No customer service, Emily from this department didn't solve my issue!
I too used to love Lowe's but my last interaction with an on-line order and store pick up was a disaster. I never got notification that the item was ready for pick up so I checked online and it said it was ready. When I went to the store, I waited 45 minutes only to have them tell me they couldn't find it. They promised to call me and I waited one day and half but they never did. I then called them and low an behold they found it. Now I have to drive back to the store. They offered no compensation for all the extra time and gas.
I Returned item with receipt but Emily couldn't do it because of another employee didn't do her job properly... Emily did say" She will address it to my colleague". Well, training is an issue in this department and the customer shouldn't pay the price!!!
I used to love Lowes for their customer service, the buttons to call someone and friendly people who helped load. It is all gone.
I will not go back to Lowe's store but will go to Home Depot!
