My son just bought his 1st car from Jack at Sweet Motor Sales. We had to drive up from Albuquerque to test it out and look it over. Beautiful car with a below market price. We left and did more research and looked at a few more cars. Note that my son has been looking for 3 years - no joke. He really knows what to look for. I called Jack and he took our credit card to hold the car until we could get our financing together and drive back up to Santa Fe. We have had the car for almost 2 weeks. The more we learn about it the better it gets. Thanks Jack
Jack is a helpful and attentive seller of used vehicles. Several people have mentioned cars being sold while they were looking at them, trying to work out a deal. This happened to me. As the ol' adage says, money talks and BS walks. Fair play. But what has not been said is that Jack then helped my wife and I buy another car on his lot working with us to get the deal done and save us time and money on the paper work. Honest, straightforward and sells solid used cars. Can't ask for more than that.
TERRIBLE! My husband and I were interested in a used BMW for sale at Sweet Motor Sales in Santa Fe. After discovering several inaccuracies in the advertisement, which my husband verified with BMW, he called to get more information. The owner was unbelievably rude, telling my husband he would not argue with him and challenging him to a wager about the car. The owner claimed the vehicle had never been in an accident, which was easily disproven by viewing the Carfax report. The condition was stated as "excellent," but when my husband asked about door dings and scratches, the owner sarcastically told us "of course it has them." We have bought and sold many vehicles over the years and have never been treated like this. Avoid at all costs! No vehicle is worth dealing with such an awful, dishonest business.
