WATCH OUT! The finance department on the other hand can be a little slimy and are really good at trying to pull one over on you. Just watch out, they are quick talkers and can be a little rude to you when you question their processes. Just keep your ears open, ask lots of questions, and demand direct answers. Remember, you can always go back after reviewing you paperwork and cancel whatever dumb stuff they added to your car financing that you don't want, like a $3000 extra warranty that they try to make you believe is part of the gap insurance...just saying. I would recommend looking for your own financing before coming into the dealership just to avoid the headache.
Our family has been dealing with the Toyota dealership at St. Michaels Drive for about 20 years (through 3 name changes). We have bought a total of 4 different vehicles for 4 different purposes over the years. The service department knows who we are and welcomes us each time we visit for our regularly scheduled maintenance. The sales teams know how to take care of our needs when shopping for a vehicle and they help us with financing and protecting our vehicles. He will make sure you get the car that you want/need at the best price, he is one of the most genuine people I have ever met looking for a car. I was always scared about getting "screwed over" buying a car from a dealership and with Michael I know I didn't, you really can not go wrong with Michael. On top of being a great salesman with our best interest at heart it was all the little extras he did for us that really solidified how good our experience was with Toyota of Santa Fe/ Michael Lopez. We lost a hubcap, we don't know when, anywhere from a day or 2 after purchase to 3 weeks. Sales agent gave us a new hubcap at no charge, which I consider great good will & customer relations. We very much appreciate it. We will certainly be return customers. Highest rating.
