I have seen Dr. Chun now for three different hand/wrist injuries. In the 10+ years that I've known him, he's always been the soul of professionalism, good humor, kindness, and great medicine -- everything I want in a doctor! As a former professional musician, my hands are important to me, and while my ability to play has been affected by some stuff in my life, Dr. Chun and his PA Rich Cook have worked to assure that injury has NOT been a reason for me to put down the flute. Yes -- it can take a while to schedule, and sometimes you may wait a while in his waiting room. This is because Dr. Chun is an excellent doctor. ( Ask yourself, "Why do they call it a waiting room anyway?!") He's worth the wait, and his office staff is awesome, too.
Wait time on phone and waiting room is ridiculous. I have been to see Dr. Chun twice. Both times I waited more than 2 hours before Dr. Chun came in and proceeded to spend all of 3 or 4 minutes with me. The treatment I received was extremely painful afterwards. No one explained that this was a possibility or that I might have to take off from my job. There was little pertinent information given regarding after care. I found the staff to be over worked, stressed and sometimes impolite.
Dr. Chun did an amazing job with my finger surgery and was incredibly kind and supportive after I had a traumatic injury. Probably the best doctor I've come across, Thanks!
