I went to get a subcutaneous shot today. Roberta was not there. I pick up my own medication at the pharmacy and take this with me. The nurse that gave me the injection was young, and had blond hair. On the box it is clearly written in huge letter subcutaneous use ONLY. The nurse went into my arm with the needle at an angle and medication went into the deep muscle. And I specifically mentioned after giving the nurse the medication that it is for subcutaneous use only. She replied with:" Yeah". Now I do not know what to expect, rash, hives what else? Am I protected with this medication for the next 6 month's? Spoke with the receptionist and she will talk with the doctor and call me back. And to think that I have had broken my shoulder with an implant in the past, a broken hip with screws repaired and am now waiting for hip implant due to avascular necrosis. Needless to say I am extremely unhappy and scared , besides spending $205,.00 for the shot and the injection total. Wondering how long it will take before I hear back from them....Christina Smith
Dr. Kingston has been there when I needed her especially when I was recovering from cancer and just stopped in due to an abnormal ultrasound She saw me on a moment's notice to calm me. She has come out into the waiting room to call me in to my appointment.
Always a efficient operation. The staff seems able and are very pleasant. I actually look forward to my annual visit.

You have one job and that is to schedule people properly. I have had nothing but problems scheduling and have wasted time traveling to Santa Fe only to be told that the receptionist scheduled the wrong day. Extremely difficult to schedule and typical of Santa Fe, no one wants to take responsibility.
