This office treats and cares for the whole person. I feel respected and heard when I go there. Dr. Ting and Dr. Caskey are wonderful and I feel grateful to have them here in Santa Fe.
Lastly, I also had a quick visit with the NP on staff, Robyn Holly. She quickly diagnosed me with Bronchitis and prescribed me a z-pac and something to reduce my coughing. I was better within a week and was very thankful for the quick appointment.
I recently talked with the office and Dr. Ting is currently accepting new patients.
Update: In an effort to keep factual information after a followup with my new Dr. after the above tests it was not a cyst on my ovary but an enlarged lymph node surrounded by abnormal fluid build up...same area as the pain. As for the MS, the Dr. explained it is not a firm diagnosis until all tests are in and reviewed by the Neurologist who will then make the determination/diagnosis. Dr. Caskey told someone that he didn't know I knew that his office was only seeing me to clear me for a surgery. He is deceptive in every way.
Dr Ting is the only one accepting new patients and please be warned. I have seen her over the past year and have had the worst experience. She talks over you, doesn't listen and is very rude. she is also only there a few days a week and it takes forever to get in to see her. I do not recommend!
And 10 minutes after I posted this review my phone suddenly magically rang with a phone call from Dr. Caskey...amazing how they only have time for you when they suddenly realize that you too have a voice. So during this phone call Dr Caskey says and I quote, "I don't believe your care has in anyway been mismanaged." Does not apologize for this staff but says that he will have the front office to call me to reschedule another appointment with Ms Holley. What part of my complaint I wonder did he not understand???
Now I have had only one appointment with another facility and after further testing they found a problem with my liver, a problem with my bladder, a cyst on my ovary (which was the cause of the pelvic pain) and have now been diagnosed with MS after 2 months of tests for that yet Dr. Caskey's exact words were "all your blood work appears normal including the enzymes that would indicate a problem with your gallbladder. SERIOUSLY what part of I am in excruciating pain did he and his staff not understand?
Unprofessional staff, judgmental, condescending, and rude. Would not recommend this office because of that. They are also one of only 2 physicians in charge of the pre-anesthesia screening at the Christus St Vincent Physicians Medical Center. Nurse Practitioner,Sandra Guebelle even remarked about the bag I was carrying that day. I did not know it was such a big deal to carry a leather Country Living shoulder bag......she walked me down the hallway from the waiting room to the exam room and said "did you bring a large enough bag today" then we walk into the exam room where she talks to me like I'm a 4 yr old child and says "Set that right there and points to the chair just inside the exam room door." I had a few questions to ask her regarding some health concerns I had going on in reference to how it might effect surgery and she merely replied "I don't have time for this." I did not realize she was under the supervision of Dr. Caskey and was called back to the Physicians Center after having filed a complaint. Dr. Caskey was friendly and full of personality and talked me out of using my then PCP to move to his office. I did so not knowing he was over the NP I had just filed complaints on. I scheduled the appt's as he requested at his office with yet another NP Robyn Holley. I had abdominal pain and was told by her she would not do a Well Woman check until she knew me better. She too was rude, condescending, and judgmental. She would repeatedly ask the same questions sometimes 3 or 4 times. I finally asked her what part of the answer did you not understand because the answer isn't going to change. I may be poor right now but that doesn't mean I have to let my insurance coverage go to a group of individuals who treat patients so rudely. When I called Dr. Caskey's office back and spoke with Victoria at the front desk and asked if I could make an appt with another Physician in the office vs seeing Robyn Holley again, her response was "I am unsure of our offices policy on switching a patient to a different Physician within our same office". Dr. Caskey did not bother to return either of the messages I left for him. When he finally did respond he informed me he doesn't involve himself in scheduling...yet his name resides on the business, he is the one who referred me there and he is the one over seeing the NP's I saw. His website clearly advertises his new physician and clearly states she is taking new patients. Wow what a circus.
A+ Wonderful and quick service. Knowledgeable and kind staff. At this office you can tell that they really care about their patients. Thank you for all that you do!
Dr. Ting joined this practice a few months ago and I have had many appointments with her in the new office. She is very professional as well as very dedicated to helping her patients get better whether the issue is mental or physical. I have enjoyed having her as my PCP and will continue to make appointments there for years to come.
The office staff is also very professional and helpful. Whether I need to pay a bill, re-schedule and appointment, or have them talk to my insurance to get a prescription approved, they have always given me a call back the same day. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful!
