Beware of coming here! This place is NOT designed to give you the best gynecological care possible, it is designed to take as much of your money as they can. The nurses are very rude, you MUST give a urine sample (whether it is covered by your insurance or not), I was given the option of being tested for some extra STDs, and after I told the nurse I would only consent to the tests if they were covered by my insurance she said she would find out......and then I was billed for the tests when it turns out (gasp!) they were not covered at all. She never even bothered to check. Then I was harassed for at least 10 minutes by my doctor for not wanting buy their HPV vaccination. AFTER my exam was finished, during which the doctor said everything was perfect, she suddenly decided that she "might" have felt a cyst, and that I should come in for another visit in a month just to check on it (after which I would conveniently have to pay them $215). Now, almost a month later, this office is still trying to bill me personally for the first visit even though my insurance has already paid them. It is safe to say that I have cancelled my follow up visit. I would rather deal with a cyst than have to encounter anyone at this office again!
My experience in the past was not so great with the type of doctors medicaid usually sends u to. But i made my own choice and she accepted me.
Best choice I made. I looked all over including Mexico. I chose Maria and santa fe for healing.
She never treated me like a medicaid recipient. Her and the hospital did an amazing job making me feel I was in good hands. I prayed for her to take good care and be cautious. She exceeded my expectations. Thank u Maria
