After trying to work with upwards of 10 other PCP's in Santa Fe, she's the only competent one I encountered, frankly. She's unusually knowledgeable and relates well to patients. I couldn't recommend her more highly.
Dr. Maas is the rare MD who listens to her patients, takes their concerns seriously, discusses the problem and orders any relevant tests, vs. brushing concerns aside and telling the patient they're fine. She also educates the patient about their condition, often having informative printouts at her fingertips. She even goes the extra mile of contacting the specialists she refers patients to, and has their office contact the patient for an appointment. She's a very effective and compassionate communicator, and has a level of expertise that's far above that of most other primary care physicians.
I have been seeing Dr Maas for over 15 years. I am very pleased with Dr Maas and her staff. I tried other PCP's in Santa Fe. Dr Maas is by far the best. She is open, friendly, present, compassionate, freely shares info, is at the top of her game. Laughs easily. I enjoy my visits every month.
I am never going back to this office I am in the process of finding a new PCP. i have a balance that hasnt been paid from my car insurance for a car accident related injury back in july. I called today to make an appointment and they will not see me untill its paid. This office obviously cares more about the money than its patients. I have never experianced this or have heard of this. I am disscusted with this place. money shouldnt be an object when it comes to a persons well being and medical care.
